What is in this video

To celebrate Chronically Informed’s first anniversary as a nonprofit, our Executive Director, Dr. Jessie Shay (she/her), shares an update on Chronically Informed.

There have been so many changes at the federal level that impact patients, including what will end up being the loss of insurance for many people. Chronically Informed will continue to advocate and show up for patients during this tumultuous time. Please consider making a video for CI if you have experience applying for and staying on Medicaid or if you have other stories of success or practical techniques for navigating the medical system that you want to share. We need each other more than ever!

Chronically Informed is continuing to apply for funding, but with federal and state funding drying up, the competition for grants is higher than ever. Please consider financially supporting CI so that we can continue to do the crucial work of helping patients. Patients need support more than ever, and so do we. If you’re able to donate, please visit our website for more information.

Thank you all for your support over this last year! We look forward to advocating for patients for years to come!
